The largest of the Iowa casinos is the Meswaki Bingo Casino Hotel, an Amerindian casino in Tama, with 127,669 square feet of gaming space, 1,500 slot machines, 30 table games, like 21, craps, roulette, and baccarat, and numerous styles of poker; including 3 dining rooms, daily entertainment, and casino instructions. A further large Native American casino is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 square feet, 668 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. Additionally, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs never closes, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 slot machines, 36 table games, and four restaurants. There are numerous other dominant Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.

    A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. Another Iowa riverboat casino, The Isle of Capri, is open never closes, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot water based gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday twenty-one events.

    Iowa casinos present an awesome deal of tax money to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has allowed the bankrolling of a good many state wide projects. Tourism has grown at a rapid percentage along with the demand for processors and an increase in employment. Iowa gambling dens have contributed to the growth of the economy, and the enthusiasm for wagering in Iowa is absolute.
